Did you know that a new world class team has entered the 4-way stage? posted: Feb 20th, 2009 There have been rumors in the skydiving community that a new top team will enter the race for this year's 4-way top spot in the USA. These rumors seem to have become reality, as some of the team members recently confirmed.
The lineup consists of Shannon Pilcher, Ian Bobo, Thomas Hughes and Gary Beyer. (more)
Did you know that Miami Synergy will compete in the AA Class? posted: Feb 19th, 2009 The NSL News has covered the A Class team from Skydive Miami in Homestead, Zero Tolerance Miami, several times last year and many times ever since the team was founded in January 2001. The Center Inside of Zero Tolerance 2008, Guido Marti, is a founding member of the original 2001 lineup and took a longer break before he came back with the 2008 lineup. Did you know that the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2009 has a world class judging panel? posted: Jan 14th, 2009 The FSL Shamrock Showdown has become one of the prime events in 4-way competition over the years. This year's meet is the 7th showdown at Skydive DeLand.
The Shamrock Showdown with its current format was first held in 2002. It was the third meet of the regular Florida Skydiving League season in 2002 and 2003. The FSL decided in 2004 to offer teams and competitors in Florida a longer winter break. The Shamrock Showdown has been the official FSL season opener ever since.

Did you know that the FSL Rookie Class teams are still on the top? posted: Sep 25th, 2008 The NSL News goes back to the NSL Playoffs event of the Florida Skydiving League last weekend at Skydive City where the first part of the meet story left out the Rookie Class competition.
It was a very special situation in the Rookie Class since three FSL lineups had signed up for the first time in the history of the Florida Skydiving League. Only the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004 had five teams competing in this competition class, and four of these lineups were participants of the Norwegian Basic Camp in DeLand. (more)
Did you know that the FSL teams posted record scores last weekend at Skydive City? posted: Sep 22nd, 2008 Judy Celaya, veteran FAI and USPA Formation Skydiving Judge, kindly provided the AAA Class competition draw for last weekend's NSL Playoffs 2008 weekend at several different locations across the USA.
She had a nice surprise for the teams that competed in the AAA Class at the end of the regular season. It was a fast draw that allowed the teams to post record scores.
The AAA Class draw usually trickles down into the three other classes. It is always an interesting situation when the sequences are identical between two or sometimes even three competition classes. The teams then have the opportunity... (more)
