Did you know that Skydive Sebastian had a very successful FSL comeback? posted: May 20th, 2008 The May meet of the Florida Skydiving League 2008 season was a comeback event for Skydive Sebastian. The host of many FSL meets was one of the original skydiving centers when the Florida Skydiving League was launched at the end of 1997. Sebastian XL, the British national team, was the most famous home team at that time.
Skydive Sebastian also hosted the USPA Nationals in 1999 and sent the original Teiwaz lineup to the USPA Nationals 2000 in Perris to win the gold medals in the Advanced Class. The scenic dropzone near the Atlantic coastline was visited regularly by the FSL teams between 1998... (more)

Did you know that two teams from the Netherlands had their own competition in DeLand? posted: May 12th, 2008 The videos of Round 5 of the FSL April meet have been added to the NSL-TV coverage of the competition in DeLand. It was the last round for the Florida Skydiving League teams before a weather system interrupted the skydiving operation for too long, and the meet was called after five rounds.
Norway's national 4-way team Arcteryx, with Thomas Hughes filling Ole Petter Hjelle's Tail slot, finally added some distance to the 2-point lead over Canada Evolution after four rounds and three tied 22-pointers. Did you know that Round 3 of the FSL April meet brings back videos of 2001? posted: May 1st, 2008 The remaining Round 3 videos of the FSL April meet have now been uploaded, and the NSL-TV has some surprises after digging deep into the NSL-TV archives. The second 2008 showdown between Optic Nerve and Teiwaz was the reason for the NSL News to go back in time, to the April meet of the Florida Skydiving League 2001 season exactly.

Did you know that the second round of 22-pointers is now on NSL-TV? posted: Apr 28th, 2008 NSL-TV has moved on to the next round of the Florida Skydiving League's April meet. The videos of Round 3 of the four national teams have been uploaded, with their exits from the Pilatus Porter. The missing videos of Round 2 have been added, as well. Did you know that NSL-TV shows more exit work of the national teams? posted: Apr 21st, 2008 NSL-TV has already moved on to Round 2 of the FSL April meet. The videos of the four national teams in DeLand have been uploaded and can now be viewed. Round 2 opens a series of three 22-pointers shared between Canada Evolution and Norway Arcteryx.
The 22-pointers in Round 2 were actually 23-pointers within working time for both teams. Event judges Shannon Pilcher and Pete Allum deducted one point for each team. Fastrax Blue and Sequence lost one point each, as well. The Dutch team Orange Blue had a 2-point deduction.
