News Article Did you know that the FSL teams were luckier with the July weather this year?
posted: Jul 20th, 2005 The 5th meet of the Florida Skydiving League 2005 took place at Skydive DeLand on July 16, while both home teams, DeLand Majik and DeLand Fire, were touring Europe. By the way, the competition draw for the five rounds of the World Games have now been added to the scoring table. As the NSL News reported with the story on July 18, DeLand Majik won the gold medals with a 23.2 meet average. DeLand Fire has not traveled back home yet, as well. The winner of the Malevsky Cup 2005 has the German national championships on the event agenda. Fire also hopes to squeeze in a few training jumps here and... (more)

posted: Jun 25th, 2005 The last round of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005 is now on NSL-TV. It completes the coverage of the whole event at Skydive DeLand in March this year just before the next major event is about to begin, the Malevsky Memorial Cup 2005. (more)
News Article Did you know that Black Magick came true and competed in the FSL's A Class competition?
posted: Jun 22nd, 2005 The Florida Skydiving League was facing an unusual situation at the fourth meet of the 2005 season last Saturday at Skydive City in Zephyrhills. It was a summer meet, and there was no weather threat. No hurricanes were trying to make the FSL life miserable. In addition, an expectedly high number of ten teams attended the meet in Zephtrhills. There were more unusual events taking place at Skydive City the same day. The NSL News on June 17 had already announced that a new team would join the FSL teams for the June meet. News Article Did you know that Joey Jones and Thomas Hughes are turning 4-way upside down?
posted: Jun 17th, 2005 The NSL News story of June 17 did not mention another new team that has signed up for tomorrow's competition of the Florida Skydiving League at Skydive City. The reason was that "Black Magick" did not know exactly which competition class would be best fit for the team's skills. Two of the team members have enough 4-way experience, however, the decision was still not easy to make. Black Magick consists of Thomas Hughes (Outside Center), Joey Jones (Inside Center), Juliana Se (Tail) and Joel Tambor (Point). The team had planned to begin the 4-way career in the Rookie Class. News Article Did you know that round five of the FSL April meet was identical with round three of the SSL March meet?
posted: Jun 13th, 2005 Round five of the Florida Skydiving League's April meet is now on NSL-TV. The April 16 weekend had the Southwest Skydiving League competing at the same time, and the meet videos of the SSL jumps will be added to the NSL-TV page next. The overview of the April weekend's scores and the NSL-TV page also offer the first meet video of a Brazilian team. The NSL News story on April 15 reported the Brazilian plans to launch a league for 4-way competition. (more)
News Article Did you know that round nine of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005 had the lowest scores of the meet?
posted: Jun 10th, 2005 The NSL-TV coverage of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005 slowly comes to the end. Round nine is currently featured, one more round to go. The timing seems to be just right. The end of the Shamrock Showdown coverage will be very close to the beginning of the Malevsky Cup 2005, which will offer the next world class 4-way competition on NSL-TV. However, there is not only the world class level that deserves attention. Great competition happens on several different scoring and performance levels. It is well worth to check out the videos of the other competition classes, too. (more)
