News Article Did you know that Perris Fury and Bodyflight Storm continued with more 2-on-2 training?
posted: Nov 26th, 2007 The NSL News story on November 12 had provided insights of Perris Fury member Christy Frikken after her return from a tunnel camp at Bodyflight Bedford. Her team had just completed the visit at the NSL Championship 2007 before traveling to Great Britain. The tunnel camp included coaching by and tunnel training for Perris Fury. It also continued with the cooperation of the Perris team with Bodyflight Storm, the new British national 4-way champion and national team in the Open Class. News Article Did you know that the Kaleidoscope 2007 signature dive was completed on Sunday?
posted: Nov 18th, 2007 The Kaleidoscope Divers added another five jumps to their account on Saturday. The main focus of the day was on the signature dive of SkyQuest 2007, which served as the outline for the design of this year's shirts. Solly Williams presented the front design of the new shirt. Skydive DeLand and UPT's Micron sponsored the Kaleidoscope 2007 shirts. The first jump in the morning was another effort to improve the previous pictures of the "Snake" design. News Article Did you know that a 3-point 104-way is the peak in DeLand so far?
posted: Nov 16th, 2007 Warmer temperatures, slower winds, better spot - the mixture was much better for the second jump of the Kaleidoscope Divers today. The result came instantly and was exciting for the 104 participants and three videographers. The 5th and last effort using the first dive design ended up as a 3-point 104-way. The NSL News documented once again the whole jump, including preparations and boarding, the actual skydive and a few fresh impressions right after the landings. News Article Did you know that it was a very cold morning for the Kaleidoscope Divers?
posted: Nov 16th, 2007 It was a very cold start on Friday morning in DeLand. Florida weather brought a cold front to the Kaleidoscope Divers already on Thursday evening. The skies very perfectly clear, but wind and very cold temperatures did not make the first jump a very pleasant experience. (more)
News Article Did you know that the Kaleidoscope Divers had a great start at SkyQuest 2007?
posted: Nov 15th, 2007 The Kaleidoscope Divers are off to a great start at SkyQuest 2007. The first jump of the 104-way group this morning ended already up with a 100-way formation. It was a very promising beginning this year. In fact, the first Kaleidoscope Dive 2007 was significantly better than any other first jump at previous SkyQuest events since the first one in 2001. News Article Did you know that Arcteryx' new Center Inside has a lot of 4-way experience?
posted: Nov 14th, 2007 The NSL News story on October 25 announced that Mattias Nord is the new Center Inside for Norway's national 4-way team, Arcteryx. The same story provided an overview of the team's history and mentioned that the new team member would be introduced to the NSL News audience soon. Mattias Nord was in the middle of arrangements to prepare his move to Oslo, Norway's capitol city, when the NSL News contacted him this week. He currently lives in Stockholm, Sweden. The new commitment for the Norwegian national team includes the move to the other Scandinavian country. (more)
