News Article Did you know that BJ Worth summarized the Kaleidoscope Dives 2007?
posted: Dec 12th, 2007 BJ Worth recently wrapped up his Kaleidoscope Dives at the SkyQuest 2007 event with a summary that he sent to all his participants. The 17 dives in November were the best ones that any group of Kaleidoscope Divers had done to date ever since the invention of the event in 2001. BJ plans to build on this foundation and make the jumps even better and more challenging next year. The local NBC News TV station got a hold of some freefall footage that was provided by SkyQuest and featured Gustavo Cabana's freefall imagery. News Article Did you know that Evolution was looking for dates in DeLand?
posted: Dec 11th, 2007 The recent visit of Canada's national 4-way team, Evolution, to its first winter camp in DeLand had a funny beginning. The four LeMay's went shopping at a local grocery store later in the evening and asked a young female clerk for help: "We are looking for dates, can you help us, please?" The young lady looked confused when father Michel and the three sons Vincent, Martin and Benoit seemed to be very serious with their inquiry. News Article Did you know that California builds teams for the 2008 season?
posted: Dec 10th, 2007 Perris Valley Skydiving, host of the California Skydiving League, once again organized its annual team-building workshop over the Thanksgiving weekend. This event introduces the idea that jumping with a regular group of people (called "team"...) is the best way to continue to learn and improve skydiving skills. Whether individuals had plans of competing or not - this event helps jumpers to find new teammates and friends to jump with during the upcoming season. News Article Did you know that the Czech Republic adds the A Class for the 2008 season?
posted: Dec 7th, 2007 The NSL News story on 27 August 2007 provided the last update from the Czech Republic. The young European 4-way league had just concluded its successful 2007 season with the national championship. Jan Klapka, founder and manager of the Czech Republic's 4-way league, has consistently brought up the standards of the league and 4-way competition in his country ever since he launched the league in 2005. Only the AAA Class was offered to the Czech teams in the first two league years of 2005 and 2006. The introduction of the Rookie Class was the next step and happened at the beginning of the 2007... News Article Did you know that CSC Rhythm has new team plans for 2008?
posted: Dec 6th, 2007 Midwest Skydiving League team CSC Rhythm has new plans for the 2008 season, and they include personnel changes. Player coach Robert Chromy guided the three members of the new 2007 line-up (JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz, Laurent Beaudouin) through the team's first season in the AAA Class. His Center Inside slot will be filled by Brian Ball in 2008. Kevin Naftzger will film the team next year. The NSL News has already followed the members of the line-up for a while. News Article Did you know that Great Britain still doesn't have a national 4-way team for the Open Class?
posted: Dec 5th, 2007 The NSL News received another update from the United Kingdom, and it was related to the situation of the British national teams for the 2008 season. Two female line-ups, Bodyflight Storm and Team Elan, took the first two places at this year's UK Nationals. The NSL News had covered this competition extensively with previews and several follow-up stories. Bodyflight Storm, with Hannah Betts (Center Inside), Claire Scott (Center Outside), Sarah Smith (Point), Kate Stephens (Tail) and Gary Wainwright (Camera), won the gold medals and qualified as the national team for the 2008 season.
