Did you know that Monkey Circus won the Austrian Nationals 2008 with the original lineup? posted: Sep 4th, 2008 As many other countries, Austria held the national championships after the World Meet 2008, as well, and wrapped up the 2008 competition season on the July 30 weekend. It was a slow year in Austria prior to the national championship. However, the last competition of the 2008 season attracted a total of 12 teams to the competition site in Linz.
Monkey Circus, defending Austrian 4-way champion, with Thomas Haber (Center Inside), Christian Royer (Tail), Werner Trummer (Center Outside), Horst Scheiber (Point) and Roland Habel (Camera) in the lineup, won the Austrian Nationals 2008 once again with... (more)
Did you know that Bodyflight Storm videos of the UK Nationals 2008 come along with new Fun Flag photos? posted: Sep 3rd, 2008 The NSL News mentioned on 29 August 2008 that there is indeed new evidence of the Fun Flag being in UK possession. New footage from the UK Nationals 2008, provided by Bodyflight Storm members, include videos of some of the team's key jumps at the meet and the latest photos of the Fun Flag.
The last showing of the Fun Flag took place during the 8-way award ceremony at the World Meet 2008. The US 8-way team had successfully captured the Fun Flag from the British national 4-way team Fusion after it had appeared on the video of the NSL News interview with Bodyflight Storm.

Did you know that PeopleJar.com improves the NSL Team Network features? posted: Sep 3rd, 2008 The NSL website has obviously begun to feature a new networking service. A young skydiver from California, Alexander Alexandrov, has launched PeopleJar.com and invites people to join the network.
Other networking services have already been around for a while, and the NSL website has set up links to MySpace, Google Groups and Facebook to offer some kind of a networking service for the skydiving community. The previously installed NSL Discussion Forum was a part of the networking features and is currently out of service.

Did you know that Ex3mo completes the team's 8-way career with another national title? posted: Sep 2nd, 2008 The 8-way competition at the Italian Nationals 2008 was not nearly as exciting as the 4-way event since it did not have a similar background as the situation in 4-way. However, the top of the leaderboard of both events did not offer any drama or any surprises. The teams in all medal positions of the Open Class events were clearly separated from each other. (more)
Did you know that the Italian Nationals 2008 are in full swing? posted: Aug 30th, 2008 The newest scores on the NSL leaderboard are coming from Italy.
The national championship takes currently place in Aquino, and it is a big event with a lot of public attention and TV coverage. The Formation Skydiving competition of the multi-category event has brought together 26 teams in three competition classes, plus four 8-way teams, including the Italian bronze medalist at the World Meet 2008, Ex3mo.

Did you know that CSC Rhythm XP's MWSL record jump on NSL-TV wraps up the Midwest 2008 season? posted: Aug 30th, 2008 Most of the 2008 skydiving season of the Midwest Skydiving League has been plagued by awful weather. But August has mostly been beautiful with very un-Augustlike comfortable temperatures and low humidities. However, Saturday started out very much like August with high temperatures and tons of humidity presenting our six teams with challenging jumping conditions. But Meet 4, our final meet of the season, still started on time at Skydive Chicago.
While AAA Class team CSC Rhythm XP and AA Class team Just4Fun each had local competition at their last two meets, today both would be the sole MWSL representatives... (more)
