News Article Did you know that the Canadian Cat Women will compete in France this year?
posted: Jan 14th, 2008 The series of international updates continues with a team from Canada. The Cat Women were on their way to the beach when they stopped by at the NSL office last week. They were done after a hard day of winter training in DeLand and took the time for an interview with the NSL News. The Cat Women were formed at the end of the 2006 season under a different team name: Ovulation. The current line-up consists of Mia Prebinski (Center Inside, 24, 350 jumps), Marie-Eve Dalleire (Center Outside, 25, 510 jumps), Nathalie Metivier (Point, 28, 983 jumps), Jacinthe Labelle (Tail, 30, 250 jumps) and Rene Deveault... News Article Did you know that Bodyflight Storm's front piece had problems in Bedford?
posted: Jan 12th, 2008 The NSL News story on 26 November 2007 covered the Perris Fury - Bodyflight Storm tunnel camp in Bedford where both teams continued with their productive and successful cooperation. NSL News plan was to follow up with videos of this tunnel camp where Perris Fury provided coaching with 2-on-2 flying sessions. It took a little while until the footage became available, however, it is never too late for some great videos, which have now been uploaded. News Article Did you know that the top teams have a busy international schedule in 2009?
posted: Jan 10th, 2008 The Italian 4-way fans and visitors of the NSL website have probably already noticed that there were a few changes of the 2008 schedule. The April meet in Casale is now scheduled for the April 12/13 weekend. The May meet in Fano has been moved to the earlier weekend on May 24/25. Italy's IPC delegate Sara Sacchet provided the NSL News with the update of the schedule. The 2008 season offers the first 4-way event series for the Italian 4-way teams, with a fully synchronized dive pool and competition draw for the AAA, AA and A Classes of the international NSL 4-way network. News Article Did you know that UK team Satori combines experience and talent?
posted: Jan 9th, 2008 Updates from the United Kingdom have mostly covered the two all-female line-ups in 2007 and recently, Bodyflight Storm and Team Elan. One of these two teams then dropped out of the UK news in the future, as the NSL News story on 5 December 2007 reported. Team Elan will not continue as a team from here on. The same article raised once again the open question of the national 4-way team that will represent the United Kingdom at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2008 in France. News Article Did you know that half-speed judging does not slow down the pace?
posted: Jan 8th, 2008 The NSL News story on 19 December 2007 brought the annual meeting of the International Parachuting Commission (IPC) to the attention of the NSL News audience. Next day's story followed up on one of the topics that will be discussed intensively in Paris, France. Half-speed judging has already been the topic at many discussions and debates on and off the dropzones for quite a while. It is a very controversial issue for many reasons. News Article Did you know that a passionate 4-way fan leads the Mideast Skydiving League in 2008?
posted: Jan 7th, 2008 The recent newsletter sent by StartSkydiving.com's manager, Kip Lohmiller, included a paragraph that brought great news to the 4-way community in the league's region: "Mr. Mike Ashley has taken control of the MESL! So Mike, John and I are looking for skydivers that want to train and play in the league. All licensed are welcome. For all the details please contact Mike Ashley. AND SPRED THE WORD AROUND TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!"
