News Article Did you know that teams at the World Challenge 2008 come from 11 different nations?
posted: Jan 24th, 2008 The number of teams that will participate at the World Challenge 2008 keeps growing. The field of AAA and AA Class teams is an interesting combination of teams that already have a history on the NSL website and new teams that will post their scores for the first time. Most of the teams already have a team page with either a photo of the line-up or the names, and the links to the team pages have been set. The World Challenge 2007 attracted a total of 19 teams to the event at Bodyflight Bedford. This year, there are already 26 teams preparing their trip to the windtunnel in the United Kingdom.... News Article Did you know that Fortitudo represents Norway at the World Meet in France?
posted: Jan 22nd, 2008 Fortitudo stands for courage and strength in Latin language, which goes back to the Roman empire. It is now the team name for a new 4-way line-up that will represent Norway this year in IPC's female 4-way category. The Fortitudo line-up already has a lot of strength and experience, which is being provided by the team's player coach, Lise Nansen, who won three bronze medals with the DeLand Norgies at the World Championships of Formation Skydiving in 1999, 2001 and 2003. Lise, formerly Aune, also runs a coaching business in Norway under the same name. Fortitudo is a promising combination of... (more)

News Article Did you know that the NSL News discussed IPC topics with Knight Trax?
posted: Jan 18th, 2008 The NSL News covered the French national 8-way team yesterday and follows up today with an update of the US national 8-way team, Knight Trax. The new US 8-way line-up for 2008 came together after Arizona Airspeed won the USPA Nationals 2007 and decided to focus only on the 4-way event this year. The same Knight Trax line-up that placed 2nd at the USPA Nationals 2007 (Matt Davidson, Kurt Isenberger, John Hoover, Brian Krause, Thomas Hughes, Doug Park, John Hart, Solly Williams, alternate Sean Sweeney and videographer Larry Miller) was training for the last two weeks in DeLand, with one little... News Article Did you know that French soccer/football star Zinedine Zidane made two tandem jumps?
posted: Jan 17th, 2008 A message from France with a correction of the last NSL News article brought additional attention to the recent activities of the French national teams. Clément Martin-Saint-Léon, member of the national 8-way team, kindly pointed out that it is not the French national 4-way team that will compete at the World Challenge 2008. The A-Team from Maubeuge will attend the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2008. However, Guillaume Bernier, Mathieu Bernier, Julien Degen and Jeremie Rollet will not travel from DeLand to Bedford, as several other teams are planning to do. Both events are separated by only two weeks.... (more)

posted: Jan 15th, 2008 Very exciting news came once again from the United Kingdom a few days ago. The preparations for the World Challenge 2008 are in full swing, as the NSL News story on 12 January 2008 already mentioned. Bodyflight Bedford's owner and creator of this high-profile tunnel competition, Paul Mayer, followed up and now provided the NSL News with a list of registered teams. Last year's World Challenge was already one of the most exciting events of the whole 2007 season and a real turning point for the arguably best 4-way team in the world at the moment, Airspeed Odyssey. The NSL News reported live... (more)
