News Article Did you know that not much has changed after the IPC meeting in Paris?
posted: Jan 31st, 2008 The NSL News posted several previews of this year's IPC meeting (International Parachuting Commission) in Paris, France, beginning with an overview on 19 December 2007 (Archives > 2007 > News > search for "IPC"). The first story explained the plans of a slight modification for Block 13 (Hammer - Hammer). The follow-up story next day introduced the topic of half-speed judging. The meeting was held last week and was concluded on Sunday, January 27. News Article Did you know that the Mideast Skydivng League meets and greets skydivers in April?
posted: Jan 30th, 2008 The NSL News story on 7 January 2008 had introduced Mike Ashley as the new Mideast Skydiving League Director. The latest newsletter of MESL host Start Skydiving announced that the new MESL Director has already taken action on preparing the 2008 season for the skydiving community in the mideast region. Mike Ashley has plans for the first part of the 2008 season. (more)
News Article Did you know that the Spin Team is still optimistic?
posted: Jan 29th, 2008 The NSL News has already covered the current 4-way vacuum in Italy several times. The last update on 14 December 2007 (Archives > 2007 > News > search for: Italy) explained why the Italian association (FIPAS) doesn't accept double-duties for Italian competitors at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving in France this year. The Eutelia Spin Team had tried to get FIPAS permission for the team's new member, Marco Arrigo. News Article Did you know that former Teiwaz members have formed Sebastian Tempest?
posted: Jan 28th, 2008 Teiwaz lost four members of the team's extended line-up, and the Florida Skydiving League has a new team. The NSL News story on 10 October 2008 (Archives > 2007 > News > search for: Tempest) already mentioned that four Teiwaz members had decided to put more efforts into 4-way training and competition. The team name was already there, as the Teiwaz line-up at the NSL Championship 2007 was called "Teiwaz Tempest". Three of the team members in November 2007 (Chris Ash, Thiago Murradas, Ari Perelman) and Kris Byrne joined forces at the end of the 2007 season and formed Sebastian Tempest. (more)

posted: Jan 27th, 2008 The NSL News has already covered quite a few teams of IPC's female 4-way category this year. Norway's new team Fortitudo was introduced on 22 January 2008, the Canadian Cat Women on 14 January 2008. Additional updates included Bodyflight Storm on 12 January 2008 and the French team White and Sea on 24 January 2008. The last time that the NSL News offered an update of the US national team Fastrax Blue dates back to 9 October 2007 (Archives > 2007 > News > search for Fastrax Blue). News Article Did you know that the United Kingdom Skydiving League announced its 2008 schedule?
posted: Jan 25th, 2008 Chris Hollis, Formation Skydiving representative for the British Parachute Association (BPA), officially announced the 2008 schedue of the United Kingdom Skydiving League (UKSL). The 4-way meet dates and the according locations have been added to the NSL Schedule of Events and are also posted on the UKSL homepage. Three 4-way meets will be hosted by the skydiving centers in Langar, Netheravon and Cark in May and June. The UK Nationals 2008 will once again take place in Hibaldstow and are scheduled for August 23 - 25. There are also two 8-way competitions on the UKSL agenda (May 31 at Black Knights,... (more)
