News Article Did you know that France sends a high-profile delegation to the USPA Nationals 2008?
posted: Oct 2nd, 2008 The focus of the NSL News will slowly shift to the USPA Nationals 2008 from here on. After the usual previews of the event, once again, a comprehensive live coverage from Eloy will follow, and it will be very special and better than ever. The NSL News will explain some of the new features later. Also once again, the USPA Nationals 2008 will be an international event this year, and a quite exciting one. French national coach Jerome David mentioned already at the World Meet 2008 that he plans to send his teams to Arizona in October. Now he provided the details of the French invasion of Eloy. (more)

posted: Sep 30th, 2008 It is an interesting point in time for the high technology experts in the sport. The progression of skydiving has not only been happening in the athletic area. The environment of Formation Skydiving competition has also changed and continues to turn into a more professional arena. Electronic judging systems, DZ-TV, on-line coverage have become crucial components of the bigger and most relevant skydiving competitions. The NSL News alone has already seen three different systems this year, and the mother of all systems, Omniskore, will be the fourth one at the USPA National 2008. (more)
News Article Did you know that Erwan Pouliquen has completed his active 4-way and 8-way mission?
posted: Sep 27th, 2008 The NSL News story on 21 August 2008 included the video a live interview with the French 8-way team shortly after the last competition jumps at the World Meet 2008. France had just won the 8-way gold medals for the second time in a row. Several different team members answered the NSL News questions, and national coach Jerome David was with his successful group of Formation Skydiving competitors, as well. The NSL News completely ignored one person in the interview who had contributed a lot of work to the French project in the past years. (more)
News Article Did you know that the FSL Rookie Class teams are still on the top?
posted: Sep 25th, 2008 The NSL News goes back to the NSL Playoffs event of the Florida Skydiving League last weekend at Skydive City where the first part of the meet story left out the Rookie Class competition. It was a very special situation in the Rookie Class since three FSL lineups had signed up for the first time in the history of the Florida Skydiving League. Only the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004 had five teams competing in this competition class, and four of these lineups were participants of the Norwegian Basic Camp in DeLand. (more)
News Article Did you know that the NSL News is the "Eye of Formation Skydiving"?
posted: Sep 24th, 2008 The NSL News recently received a copy of the official French skydiving magazine, published every other month by the French Skydiving Federation (Fédération Française de Parachutisme). The name of the colorful and high-quality magazine is "Contacts", and the latest September/October issue covers the time period of the World Meet 2008. Of course, the major part of this issue is all about the competition in Maubeuge. There are several feature stories of the French national teams in all of the skydiving events, and Formation Skydiving takes the largest portion of the complete coverage in France,... (more)
