posted: Apr 26th, 2007 It is now a fact, the NSL News will cover the Malevsky Cup 2007, once again live from the event site in Stupino, Russia. The Malevsky Cup 2004 was the first of the annual high-profile events in Russia that the NSL News covered live. It is well worth for the NSL website visitor to review the information of the previous events in the NSL Archives. Scores, stories and videos are still available there. The Malevsky Cup competitions have always attracted some of the best teams in the world to Russia. News Article Did you know that Pete Allum provided World Challenge 2007 feedback in a new NSL-TV interview?
posted: Apr 25th, 2007 The NSL News is now going back to the World Challenge 2007 at Bodyflight Bedford. XL member Pete Allum visited the NSL office on Tuesday this week and took the time for a live interview with the NSL News. The British/American team XL had surprised the top teams in Bedford and the world-wide audience with top scores throughout the first five rounds on the first day of the competition. In fact, XL was in first place after five rounds, two points ahead of Team Fastrax and three points ahead of Airspeed Odyssey. News Article Did you know that German4way is knocking on the 20-average door?
posted: Apr 24th, 2007 The NSL News published the last update of the Formation Skydiving competition business in Germany on 11 October 2006. Last year's competition season was over, and the teams were in the process of making plans for the 2007 season. The news from Germany were interesting enough since the best two German 4-way teams decided to join for a new 8-way project. The NSL News evaluated the 8-way situation by then and considered the chances of a German 8-way team to win medals at a future world championship. News Article Did you know that the Florida Skydiving Center slowly recovers from Hurricane Charley's devastation?
posted: Apr 23rd, 2007 Norway's national 4-way team Arcteryx left DeLand and the Pink Pilcher House story behind for a weekend. Arcteryx traveled with the Florida Skydiving League to Lake Wales and attended the second FSL competition of the 2007 season at the Florida Skydiving Center. The Pink distraction of Arcteryx' 4-way business did not have much of an impact on the team's performance in Lake Wales. The new line-up, with Derek Broughton (Point), Tore Buer (Center Inside), Ole Petter Hjelle (Tail) and Ditta Valsdottir (Center Outside), continued with the team's scoring progression and improved the meet average... News Article Did you know that NSL-TV went on a sightseeing tunnel tour in Bedford?
posted: Apr 20th, 2007 The NSL News now goes back to the World Challenge 2007, while teams of the Florida Skydiving League and the Carolina Skydiving League prepare for the upcoming meet weekend. The NSL-TV camera went on a short sightseeing tour at Bodyflight Bedford in the middle of Round 3. The tour included a few stops at different locations with a few words from some competitors. The filmed areas are all on the same level of the tunnel building where the entrance to the flying chamber is located. (more)
News Article Did you know that Australia's team Airtite keeps moving Onwards and Upwards?
posted: Apr 19th, 2007 The NSL News received an update from Australia where the national championship of 2007 was already held in March. The reigning Australian 4-way champion, Airtite, won again and for the 4th time since 2004. Airtite consists of Jeremy Langford (Point), Gary Nemirovsky (Outside Center), Rob Tasic (Inside Center), Simon Disciassio (Tail) and Andy Oakley (Camera). The same line-up represented Australia at the World Meet 2006 in Germany.
