posted: Jan 12th, 2007 The NSL News story on January 8 covered a Canopy Piloting competition in Melbourne Beach. The NSL News followed the 4-way world and national champions, Shannon Pilcher, Ian Bobo and Jonathan Taggle (DeLand Fire, DeLand Groove) on their trip to the Sebastian Inlet with the PD Factory Team. The story included interviews with the PD Factory team members, and the NSL News also spoke with Sinapsi PD member Pete Allum and Team Fastrax member Kaz Sheekey. The official results of the competition were not available at the time when the story was published. (more)
News Article Did you know that the fastest round of the meet finally changed the leaderboard?
posted: Jan 11th, 2007 The NSL-TV coverage of the USPA Nationals 2006 is coming to an end. The available videos of Round 10 have been uploaded and include once again the jumps of the three winners in each USPA category (DeLand Groove - AAA/Open Class, Arizona Divewerkz - AAA/Advanced Class, Ranch Pulse - AA/Intermediate Class). The NSL News story on December 31, 2006, came with the videos of Round 9 and evaluated the situation before the final round in Eloy. The fast sequence of Round 9 (J-L-Q-P-18) had also brought some motion onto the top of the AAA/Open Class leaderboard without impacting on the rankings yet. (more)

posted: Jan 9th, 2007 The NSL News reported on January 2 that the 4-way world champion in the female category, Airkix from Great Britain, changes the line-up for the 2007 season. The news story on January 4 followed up on the previous article and explained the new plans of the former Airkix member, Claire "Sparky" Scott. The Airkix news story was based on an article in The Times, a British newspaper, and it was brought to the attention of the NSL News by readers in the United Kingdom. News Article Did you know that the NSL News observed 4-way competitors swooping on the beach last Saturday?
posted: Jan 8th, 2007 The NSL News went on an excursion last weekend. Chris Hayes, who has managed the swooping competition of SkyQuest since 2004, had put together an event at a beach site in Melbourne Beach, Florida. Team Fastrax, Selection.com and Performance Designs supported the project, and the NSL News was interested to see the results fo the intense event preparation. Several 4-way competitors competed at the beach swooping competition, as well, and the NSL News had the opportunity to observe their performances in a different environment. (more)
News Article Did you know that Canada's team Evolution turns into a complete family operation this year?
posted: Jan 5th, 2007 The NSL News story on August 7, 2005 (Archives > 2005 > News > search: Evolution), introduced the Canadian national 4-way team Evolution. The French Canadians from NouvelAir in the Montreal/Quebec area, with Martin Lemay (Inside Center), Michel Lemay (Outside Center), Vincent Lemay (Point), Francois Pigeon (Tail) and Peter Toutoudakis (Camera) in the line-up, had just won the Canadian Nationals 2005, as the NSL News story on August 1, 2005, had already reported. Tuesday's story included an article in The Times on-line edition, which provided new information of the British 4-way world champion team in the female category, Airkix. The NSL News story mentioned a change in the Airkix line-up. New updates were now provided directly from the team and also from former team member Claire "Sparky" Scott. The NSL News will begin with her new situation and the team that she has become a member of, Bodyflight Storm. The next update will introduce the new member of Airkix. (more)
