Did you know that Perris Fury commits to two more years with new continuity plan?
posted: Nov 1st, 2007 The NSL News story on October 27 mentioned that a live interview with the complete Perris Fury line-up would be posted very soon. The world-class team from California traveled to Florida and attended the NSL Championship 2007 with three 4-way line-ups of the Perris Fury team project. The player coach teams (Momentum, Jimani, Acute) were not able to compete at the USPA Nationals 2007 since Perris Fury was busy with its own original line-up. The NSL Championship 2007 was a great opportunity for the three project teams to finish the 2007 season. (more)

Did you know that Arizona Divewerkz adds 8-way to the AZDW Mentorship Program?
posted: Oct 31st, 2007 The NSL News covered has covered Arizona Divewerkz many times over the years ever since the team was founded in 2003. The stories were mostly related to the AZDW progression and its attendance at 4-way competitions. The NSL News coverage of AZDW activities broadened when the Southwest Skydiving League split into the Arizona Skydiving League and the Southern California Skydiving League. AZDW member Annie Peterson managed the new league's events in Arizona, which included her own team agenda. Did you know that France is on the right track?
posted: Oct 30th, 2007 The French delegation had a very successful showing at the FAI World Cup 2007. The 8-way team and the female 4-way line-up each won gold medals, and the 4-way team in the Open Class won the silver medals after a jump-off for gold with Belgium's national team, Hayabusa Defence. Did you know that good celebration compensated for bad weather in DeLand?
posted: Oct 29th, 2007 No scores of the NSL Championship 2007 were posted on Friday or Saturday, and the weather forecast for Sunday was not very promising. However, there were enough other events in DeLand last weekend that made it easier to stand the weather pain. In fact, the combination of not much hope for jumping on Sunday and a great crowd on site to celebrate Skydive DeLand's 25-year anniversary and Norman Kent's filming achievements was not the greatest foundation for an early start on Sunday morning. 8:00 am was the official take-off time for the first competition load on Sunday, even though nobody really... Did you know that Perris Momentum had bad luck with weather in California and Florida?
posted: Oct 27th, 2007 The teams at the NSL Championship 2007 have not had much luck with the weather yet. Friday afternoon and Saturday went by without any skydiving activities in DeLand so far. One of the three teams from California, Perris Momentum, was troubled by bad weather conditions even twice. Two of the original team members, Tom Brotherton and Nate Halprin, were already on the way to Florida when the wild fires in California threatened their homes, and they had to cancel the trip to the east coast. Did you know that Mattias Nord is the new Center Inside for Arcteryx?
posted: Oct 25th, 2007 Norway's national 4-way team, Arcteryx, has been covered by the NSL News many times ever since the team was founded in 2004. It was already a challenging task for the original Arcteryx line-up (Ditta Valsdottir, Ole Petter Hjelle, Oyvind Buer, Tore Buer) to fill the space of the retired DeLand Norgies (Lise Aune, Carl-Erik Tuv, Torstein Valen, Pal Kolbenstvedt). The DeLand Norgies were a world-class team and challenged the very top positions at each international meet between 1998 and 2003.
