Did you know that the race for the gold medals has been reduced to a duel this morning? posted: Aug 8th, 2007 Today's first two rounds in the 4-way Open class brought some motion into the area of the medal positions, as well. Hayabusa Defence seems to be committed to hang on to the first place and bring the biggest success for a Belgian 4-way team back home. France Maubeuge continues with a clean and strong performance.
Only the Russian Sky Panthers have fallen behind, and the downslope began already in yesterday's Round 6. The Sky Panthers lost three more points in Round 7 and one more point in Rond 8 and have little chances for gold medals any longer. (more)
Did you know that Ukraine is in bronze medal position after Round 8? posted: Aug 8th, 2007 It's an Ukrainian day in the female 4-way category so far. The first two rounds of the third competition day did not change anything on the very top where the new French line-up continues to increase the distance to the other teams. Today's aggressive performance has moved the Ukrainian team past the German Chicas and into the bronze medal position. Now it is up to the Chicas to take action and challenge the 1-point deficit after eight rounds.

Did you know that Hayabusa Defence is on top of the world after the first day? posted: Aug 7th, 2007 The race in the 4-way Open competition is still as exciting and close after six rounds as it was ever since the first round. The three top teams are within two points of each other, and nobody else seems to be able to get close to this trio. Black Cat tied the highscore of 21 points in Round 6. However, the 8-point difference is too much in such an excellent field.
None of the three top contenders was able to settle in first place so far, which has made the competition very interesting round by round. The Sky Panthers had the first lead after Round 1 and were already overtaken by France Maubeuge... (more)

The question at the end of this competition will be how close the French team is currently compared to the British top teams.... (more)
