Did you know that five 4-way teams will qualify for the World Air Games 2009? posted: Feb 4th, 2008 The NSL News reported on 10 January 2008 that the IPC delegates would re-consider the skydiving disciplines included in the World Air Games 2009 at the January meeting in Paris, France.
The 3rd World Air Games will take place in Turin, Italy, in 2009. The Parachuting events originally included Freestyle, Style & Accuracy, Canopy Formation and Canopy Piloting. However, Formation Skydiving competition came back into the discussion since Turin has a problem with haze in the summer.

Did you know that 32 teams are currently listed for the World Challenge 2008? posted: Feb 1st, 2008 It is very difficult to decide in which order the teams competing at the World Challenge 2008 should be introduced. The field of teams is so interesting and diversified that the choice of the next story itself requires some thoughts.
The number of teams has recently gone up to a total of 32, which did not surprise Bodyflight Bedford's owner, Paul Mayer. He is ready to accommodate a total of 40 teams. Did you know that not much has changed after the IPC meeting in Paris? posted: Jan 31st, 2008 The NSL News posted several previews of this year's IPC meeting (International Parachuting Commission) in Paris, France, beginning with an overview on 19 December 2007 (Archives > 2007 > News > search for "IPC"). Did you know that the Mideast Skydivng League meets and greets skydivers in April? posted: Jan 30th, 2008 The NSL News story on 7 January 2008 had introduced Mike Ashley as the new Mideast Skydiving League Director. The latest newsletter of MESL host Start Skydiving announced that the new MESL Director has already taken action on preparing the 2008 season for the skydiving community in the mideast region. The last update on 14 December 2007 (Archives > 2007 > News > search for: Italy) explained why the Italian association (FIPAS) doesn't accept double-duties for Italian competitors at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving in France this year.
The Eutelia Spin Team had tried to get FIPAS permission for the team's new member, Marco Arrigo. The highly experienced world-class competitor, former Sinapsi PD member, is a current member of the Italian 8-way team, Ex3mo.
