News Article Did you know that new Fun Flag information comes from Canada?
posted: Dec 29th, 2006 The NSL News has mentioned the Fun Flag already in several stories. In addition, four separate NSL News stories covered nothing else but the history of the Fun Flag. The story on September 13 included Chris Wagner's summary of the early days. Tim Wagner's and Tim Stevens' contributions were posted on September 28. The story on October 7 added Billy Porter's memories how the Fun Flag was stolen out of Jack Jefferies' hands at the award ceremony, and the last story on October 30 reported of the time when the Fun Flag was in Norwegian possession. News Article Did you know that Fastrax Blue has a very competitive line-up?
posted: Dec 28th, 2006 The news section of the Fastrax website caught the NSL News attention today. New Fastrax member Thomas Hughes contacted the NSL News asking for the meet dates of the Southwest Skydiving League 2007. He mentioned that the female line-up of Team Fastrax was working on the team's competition schedule for the 2007 season. The NSL could not provide the best answer for the inquiry since the SSL 2007 schedule has not been finalized yet. posted: Dec 27th, 2006 The last meet videos of the NSL Championship at SkyQuest 2006 was uploaded with the NSL News story on December 12. The videos of Round 3 have now been added and can be found at the 4-way page. (more)
News Article Did you know that the second part of the Fastrax interview is now on NSL-TV?
posted: Dec 26th, 2006 The NSL News story on December 21 included the first part of a new NSL-TV interview. Team Fastrax members John Hart, Niklas Hemlin, Thomas Hughes and Steve Redinbo took some extra time after a training day in DeLand to visit the NSL office. The first part of the interview covered mostly the position of the new team member, Thomas Hughes, as the Center Inside for Team Fastrax. The interview began with the surprising showing of a Black Magick competition video with Thomas Hughes and Joey Jones flying on their backs. (more)
News Article Did you know that the Golden Knights re-visit a place of glory in 2007?
posted: Dec 22nd, 2006 The NSL News story on October 17 was posted in the middle of the USPA Nationals 2006 action and covered the strong comeback of the Golden Knights 4-way team. The Army team had changed the line-up earlier this year and sent 4-way veterans to Eloy in October (Eric Heinsheimer, Kurt Isenbarger, Brian Krause, Matt Davidson, Larry Miller on camera). The same story quoted team member Brian Krause with a preview of the near future: "We will have this team going full time in January 2007. News Article Did you know that John Eagle joins Arizona Directe for the 2007 season?
posted: Dec 21st, 2006 The 2006 season was very quiet for AZ Directe. In fact, the team did not attend any meets this year at all. The team name was mentioned only once when the NSL News story on March 4 announced that former AZ Directe member Brian Vande Krol handed over the Colorado Skydiving League management to Travis Roth. AZ Directe's 2005 line-up (Gary Beyer, Kirk Campbell, Courtney Frasch, Brian Vande Krol, Gordon Lindsay on camera) attended two meets of the Southwest Skydiving League 2005 (15.2 - 16.0) and finished in 14th position at the USPA Nationals 2005 with a 14.2 average.
