posted: Sep 30th, 2005 Two new NSL Profile stories are currently in the works. The NSL News story on September 22 offered a preview of Dawn English's NSL Profile, and Natasha Montgomery's story will also become a part of this feauture on the NSL website soon. The NSL News recently asked Robert Chromy to provide the necessary information for his profile story. Robert Chromy has been a competitor and full time coach for many years, speaks several foreign languages and travels the whole world all year long. News Article Did you know that the Danish pursuit of world meet medals has been put on a hold?
posted: Sep 29th, 2005 The NSL News has covered the 4-way project in Denmark on a regular basis in the past years. The NSL News introduced Denmark's plans for the pursuit of medals at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2006 with a story on January 24, 2004, for the first time (check NSL Archives 2004). Former Sportschef Flemming Nøddegaard and "Team Danmark", which is supported by the Danish government, had created a comprehensive 4-way project to enhance competition skydiving in Denmark. News Article Did you know that you better keep your mouth closed in the tunnel?
posted: Sep 28th, 2005 The NSL News traveled to Arizona in August and tested the new SkyVenture Arizona wind tunnel in Eloy. Three stories covered the trip and the experiences with the new tunnel. The August 10 story explained the flying experience, an interview with Airspeed members followed on August 12, and a view from the management and coaching position completed the coverage on August 16. The NSL News visit at SkyVenture Arizona coincided with a PR campaign for the new wind tunnel. (more)
News Article Did you know that DeLand Fire and PD Factory Team merge for a successful and attractive combination?
posted: Sep 27th, 2005 The NSL News on September 8 was still coming from Perris Valley Skydiving, host of the USPA Nationals 2005. The story covered the two members of DeLand Fire, the new USPA 4-way champion and national team, who are swooping for the Performance Designs Factory Team at the same time, Ian Bobo and Shannon Pilcher. The same NSL News story featured Ian Bobo with a live interview from the competition site in Perris after his first round of the Canopy Piloting competition of the USPA Nationals 2005. News Article Did you know that the new Malevsky Cup 2005 DVD is ready for shipping?
posted: Sep 26th, 2005 The NSL News on July 22nd was one of several follow up stories of the Malevsky Cup 2005. The story included the announcement that two different DVD's of the competition jumps would be available soon. The first version was added to the items in the NSL Shop quite shortly after the story was posted. The jumps of all teams in all FS events (8-way, 4-way Open, 4-way Women) were copied onto this DVD in no specific order. The rounds and events on this DVD follow the event's progress, day by day over a total of the four event days. (more)
News Article Did you know that a Russian magazine was interested in NSL News feedback after the Malevsky Cup 2005?
posted: Sep 23rd, 2005 The NSL News visited the Malevsky Memorial Cup for the second consecutive year in July 2005. The comprehensive event coverage can still be found at the special event pages. The editor of "Skydiver", a skydiving magazine that is published in Russia and Ukraine, was interested in feedback from the NSL News after the completition of the 2005 event and asked the NSL News reporter in Russia, Kurt Gaebel, a few questions.
