Did you know that SkyQuest 2006 completed a successful day? posted: Nov 17th, 2006 Blues skies and perfect weather welcomed the participants of SkyQuest 2006 this morning. BJ Worth gathered his Kaleidoscope Divers at 7 am and had the first load in the air at 7:45 am. The first jump served as a warm-up opportunity for particpants and pilots.
Warming up was difficult since the temperatures were in the 40's early in the morning. However, the second jump was already success for the Kaleidoscope Divers with the first complete 100-way and a perfect spot. The great start this morning promises a much better quality compared to previous SkyQuest events.

Did you know that NSL-TV now features the jumps of each winning team in Eloy? posted: Nov 16th, 2006 NSL-TV was hoping to upload the first Kaleidoscope Dive this afternoon. The weather system has almost passed Florida. However, the conditions are not ready yet for 100-way jumps. The Kaleidoscope Divers are still on a stand-by status, while the edge of the weather system brings more blus skies to DeLand by the minute.
In the meantime, NSL-TV offers a new round of 4-way competition. The meet videos of Arizona Divewerkz will now be added round by round. The gold medal winner in the AAA/Advanced Class competition of the USPA Nationals 2006 provided the footage of all competition rounds. (more)
Did you know that the Kaleidoscope Divers are waiting for the blue skies? posted: Nov 16th, 2006 The first day of SkyQuest 2006 has a slow start. The weather system that was racing through the southeastern states with full power and several tornados covered almost the whole eastern third of the USA on Thursday morning.
However, the Kaleidoscope Divers knew that this was the expected situation in the morning and took it easy. (more)
Did you know that DeLand Genesis attended 16 meets in the 1999 season? posted: Nov 14th, 2006 SkyQuest 2006 once again includes the annual NSL Championship 4-way competition, and the first round of the event is scheduled for Friday afternoon this week. The NSL News has already received several requests in the past to show competition jumps of earlier years on NSL-TV. The upcoming event and the recent headlines of the DeLand Fire and DeLand Groove success gave enough reason to get into the NSL-TV Archives.

Did you know that the Kaleidoscope 2006 line-up is a colorful mixture of VIPs and celebrities? posted: Nov 13th, 2006 The final preparations for SkyQuest 2006 are in full swing in DeLand. The roster for the Kaleidoscope Dives, managed by BJ Worth, is complete and posted at the SkyQuest website. The list of names includes many participants of the 400-way world record jump this year in Thailand.
In fact, the Kaleidoscope roster is a colorful mixture of the whole skydiving community from all over the world. Participants from 14 different countries will visit DeLand this week. Did you know that the second part of the DeLand Groove interview covers meet management? posted: Nov 12th, 2006 The NSL News story on November 9 included the first part of the interview with the three DeLand Groove members, Gary Smith, Shannon Pilcher and Ian Bobo. These first ten minutes covered mostly the specifics of the line-up at the USPA Nationals 2006 and the history of the pieces and the piece partners.
