posted: Sep 2nd, 2005 The latest scores, which are still posted on the front page, are the ones of the NSL Playoffs 2005 weekend on August 20 - 21. Several meet stories have already covered the events, and the only missing piece was the results of the NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition. The NSL News recently caught up with several stories covering the winners of the remaining NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition weekends of the regular 2005 season. Did you know that Airspeed Odyssey and Velocity make it four of the BIG-6?
posted: Sep 2nd, 2005 The NSL News story on September 1 began with the preview of the 4-way AAA/Open Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2005. DeLand Fire and the Golden Knights were the first two teams in the spotlight, this story continues with two other contenders of the BIG-6, the two 4-way line-ups of Arizona Airspeed, Odyssey and Velocity. The preview will be completed later with the two remaining top contenders, Fastrax and DeLand Majik. (more)

Did you know that Punky Fish won the 2005 championship in the Netherlands?
posted: Sep 1st, 2005 Mike Pennock, organizer of the Dutch Handicap Cup, which is a part of the European Skydiving League, provided the NSL News with the scores of the national championship in the Netherlands. The event took place earlier during the week of the NSL Playoffs 2005 in August and was shortened to eight rounds due to bad weather. Several of the ten team names sound familiar to the NSL News regulars and have already appeared earlier this year on different NSL and ESL scoreboards, including Punky Fish, the all-female team Infinity and some of the A Class teams. posted: Sep 1st, 2005 The event pages for 4-way and 8-way are prepared, the work station for the NSL News at the media center in Perris has been confirmed by the meet management, the travel arrangements have been completed - it is now time to get excited and review the situation before the start of the USPA Nationals 2005. Two earlier NSL News stories were already directly related to the USPA Nationals 2005, including the recent newspaper article covering DeLand Majik's trip to Perris. Did you know that NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition results have finally caught up?
posted: Aug 31st, 2005 The NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition results of two more meet weekends are now available. This update completes all NSL meets of the regular season. Only the scores of the NSL Playoffs 2005 weekend on August 20 - 21 still need to be processed before the results after handicap can be posted and the certificates get on the way to Perris. Southwest Skydiving League teams were the big winners of the meet weekend on July 30, 2005, and won each competition class after handicap, except the Rookie Class. The new Austrian national team FILA posted the highest average after four rounds (18.0), however,... (more)
