posted: Aug 30th, 2005 The 2005 national championship of Belgium was held on August 27 - 28, and it included the 4-way and 8-way Formation Skydiving competition. The three competition classes of the 4-way event were identical with the AAA, A and Rookie Class of the National Skydiving League. Only three teams competed in the AAA Class, and the Belgian national 4-way team, Spa Hayabusa, did not have to work very hard to defend the title. posted: Aug 29th, 2005 Since catching up with the results of the NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition is on top of the priority list of the NSL News, the next meet weekend has already been processed. This time, the scoring table below presents the winners of the competition on July 23 after handicap. Fastrax Select competed for the first time with former Synchronicity member Jaqi O'Bryan in the line-up after Elisa Behnk had to give up for the season due to an injury. News Article Did you know that several NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition certificates will be hand delivered in Perris?
posted: Aug 29th, 2005 The May 21 results of the NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition are finally available. The flaw in the automated calculation program has still not been resolved. However, it was about time to get the certificates to the winners, no matter how. The good old manual calculator came back into the game plan, and the scoring table below shows the scores after handicap. The May 21 meet weekend had enough teams in each competition class to make it 30-minute certificates for the lucky and deserving winners. News Article Did you know that Airspeed Odyssey and Arizona Divewerkz confirm their goals on new NSL-TV of the playoffs?
posted: Aug 29th, 2005 The USPA Nationals in Perris are already in full swing. The results of the classic disciplines, Accuracy and Style, are posted, the newer Sport Accuracy competition must still be going on. Monday and Tuesday are off days in Perris. Canopy Formation competition will begin on Wednesday, the artistic events start on Thursday and are scheduled to be completed on Sunday. The whole next week belongs to Formation Skydiving competition, and 4-way kicks off the most popular part of the USPA Nationals on Monday. News Article Did you know that The Hanko Open beat the Finish Nationals this year?
posted: Aug 26th, 2005 The meet weekend of August 13 had an extraordinary turnout in Finland. A total of seven teams competed in the AAA Class and ten additional teams in the A Class. The NSL News was surprised and became interested in finding out the reasons for the great turnout. Jukka Olkkonen is the league organizer in Finland, and he is also an international FAI judge who visited Russia for the Malevsky Cup 2005. News Article Did you know that Perris Fury lost Dan BC for the USPA Nationals?
posted: Aug 25th, 2005 Former Airspeed world champion Dan BC has been one of the busiest coaches, managers, competitors this year. His move from Eloy, Arizona, to Perris, California, surely did not slow down his agenda. He currently manages the skydiving school in Perris, which is a full time job in itself. Dan BC has also been a very popular coach for many years. His NSL Profile offers a lot of information of his skydiving life, including the dramatic story of his accident that almost terminated his career for good in 1992.
