News Article Did you know that Northwest Skydiving League teams saw some snow in Snohomish last weekend?
posted: Aug 19th, 2004 The 3rd Northwest Skydiving League Meet was held on August 14 at Skydive Snohomish. A temporary flight restriction was issued Friday afternoon until Saturday morning due to the President visiting our area. So teams were unable to practice on Friday. We were concerned about whether or not we'd get to start early enough on Saturday to complete the meet. Luckily the restriction was lifted right on time, and the sky was clear. Seven teams showed up for the competition, and Skydive Snohomish brought in Kapowsin's Otter to accommodate the number of teams along with the 56 tandems on their schedule.... (more)
News Article Did you know that a new round of NSL-TV continues the Texas meet and begins with the SSL coverage?
posted: Aug 18th, 2004 Round three of the last Texas Skydiving League meet (C-18-F-14) included the same two blocks that were drawn for the sequence of round one (14-4-18) at last weekend's Southwest Skydiving League competition in Perris. The NSL audience has the rare opportunity to compare the block techniques of 16 AAA Class teams directly. The sequence of the TSL meet is featured by Dallas Thunder with a score of 14 points. Arizona Blade introduces round one of the SSL Meet with a score of 14 points, as well. Blade competed with Robert Healy in the Tail position for the first time. The SSL sequence for round one... News Article Did you know that all Midwest Skydiving League teams improved their meet averages last weekend?
posted: Aug 17th, 2004 In stark contrast to the dangerously violent weather impacting Florida and the East Coast last weekend, the Midwest was blessed with near perfect skydiving weather. And while August meets in the Midwest typically involve enduring some of the most oppressive heat and humidity of the year, we had near record lows and a high only in the low 70’s. Six teams, all of whom were participating in at least their third MWSL meet of the season, took advantage of the spectacular weather at Skydive Chicago in Ottawa, IL. News Article Did you know that the NSL SkyVenture Competition scores of the August 7 weekend are posted?
posted: Aug 16th, 2004 Several of the new scores of last weekend's events are already posted. It is time to wrap up the August 7 weekend with the results of the NSL SkyVenture Competition. The Southwest Skydiving League was the only NSL league competing that weekend. Additional teams attended a meet of the European Skydiving League in Finland that used the same competition draw. (more)

News Article Did you know that the latest NSL-TV features the fast FSL round in May?
posted: Aug 12th, 2004 The last update of the NSL-TV coverage includes a new round of the Florida Skydiving League May meet. Round two was the random sequence (C-E-F-L-K) that helped DeLand Majik to a 25.5 meet average after six rounds. Majik scored 41 points within working time and kept the jump still so clean that the Malevsky Cup judges were impressed when judging it inofficially in Russia. (more)
