Did you know that Perris 4ever and XP Furies/Angels get their re-match at Skydive Teuge? posted: Jun 27th, 2025 The number of pre-registered teams for the 4-way Women competition at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 is also identical with the participation in 4-way Open a decade ago at Skydive Teuge in the Netherlands. However, registration deadline is July 13th, and the number of teams may still increase.
The current leaderboard of the unofficial NSL Power Rankings is indicating that the new version of the French Nephtys will walk away with a set of gold medals and may not even look at the scores in 4-way Women. They will probably keep their eyes more on the 4-way AAA/Open Class leaderboard, where they... (more)
Did you know that the XP Summer Classic was a learning opportunity for XP Angels? posted: Jun 27th, 2025 Not only the exciting duel between Golden Knights and Arizona Airspeed was a highlight at the Paraclete XP Summer Classic 2025. In fact, the other duel on the AAA Class leaderboard, between Platinum XP and the XP Angels, was just as exciting and offered very similar drama as it was going on at the top of the leaderboard.
It was on Saturday in Round 5 when home team XP Angels had to swallow a 1-point score, before Arizona Airspeed lived through a real exit funnel in Round 9 on Sunday. Platinum XP and XP Angels both completed all ten rounds on the first day of the competition, and the damage for... (more)
Did you know that Round 9 did not work well for Arizona Airspeed at all? posted: Jun 25th, 2025 The NSL News presented the situation of the Golden Knights after the Paraclete XP Summer Classic 2025 on June 23rd, including NSL Live Talk with the complete lineup after Round 10 on Sunday. It was no surprise that the U.S. Army team was in great spirits after a convincing performance last weekend.
Next step for the Golden Knights follows, as planned, at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025, where they will have the next re-match, this time with the Aethers from France and SDC Rhythm XP. The Golden Knights will be in the same situation at Skydive Teuge in the Netherlands as Arizona Airspeed was at... (more)
Did you know that the outdoor world cup at Skydive Teuge is also a 10-year anniversary? posted: Jun 24th, 2025 The FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 has been a topic in discussions and NSL News updates for a while. It is the major international Formation Skydiving competition of the year and brings more teams together than a world championship. Up to four teams can compete in each event for the countries' delegations.
The preview leaderboard with the NSL Power Rankings is showing that the U.S. delegation is using the whole contingent in 4-way Open with four registered teams (Golden Knights, SDC Rhythm XP, XPG4, RhEvolution XP), which does not even include Arizona Airspeed, who could not win FAI/ISC medals at... Did you know that the Golden Knights excel with a more spiritual approach? posted: Jun 23rd, 2025 The second day of the Summer Classic 2025 brought even more smiles to the faces of the Golden Knights 4-way team, even though the day of the last three rounds did not start the best way from the perspective of the U.S. Army team.
In fact, it seemed like Arizona Airspeed would do on Sunday what the world's formation skydiving community has been used to in 4-way history. The still reigning 4-way world champion team won Round 8 with a great performance and cut the distance to the Golden Knights by two points, after two point deductions for the leader by judges Kirk Verner and Brian Krause. It was... (more)
Did you know that "smiles don't lie" after landing from a competition jump? posted: Jun 22nd, 2025 As every competition, the Summer Classic 2025 began with the famous Round 1. It was a delayed start, as an unexpected layer of fog was in the way of the Twin Otter taking off at the scheduled time. This gave the six teams at Skydive Paraclete XP some extra time for the preparations.
Round 1 of any competition is usually the one that is better prepared than any other round. The competition draw is known the night before the beginning of a competition, and the teams have much more time to get ready for Round 1. It was different this time in Raeford, as the draw was published on Saturday morning.... (more)
