posted: Sep 18th, 2024 The 4-way Open Class competition at the USPA National Championship 2024 did not offer any surprises on the very top of the leaderboard, where Arizona Airspeed once again confirmed the world's current leadership, this time with the sole highscores for all ten rounds and a 25.8 average. The world's two highest meet averages of the 2024 season have been posted by the old and new USPA champions, first 28.2 at the Shamrock Showdown 2025, now followed by 25.8 last weekend. The medal positions behind Arizona Airspeed were disputed though. XPG4 had won USPA silver over SDC Rhythm XP and Golden Knights... (more)

posted: Sep 17th, 2024 The story of the USPA Advanced Class championship was not over after Ben Liston reported the violation of the USPA rules to his former Mass Defiance team mate Jim Rees, who was in the jury for the event. The award ceremony was already completed, scoresheets signed and approved, medals handed out, and the first 8-way day had gone by when Ben Liston was informed of the rules situation by a fellow competitor. Chicken Bolts were retroactively moved from 1st place on the Advanced Class leaderboard to the bottom as a guest team, and Air Raid XP became the new USPA Advanced Class champion of 2024. There... posted: Sep 16th, 2024 The NSL News begins catching up with the 4-way opening ceremony, followed by the awards in all four horizontal Formation Skydiving categories. In between these two events were ten completed rounds of the 48 teams this year. No extra rounds were necessary, even though there was very tight competition for the AA/Intermediate Class medals and in the A/Beginner Class. The AAA/Advanced Class competition only became very interesting after all ten rounds were completed, and the medals were already handed out. posted: Sep 15th, 2024 The NSL News was covering the German Outdoor Nationals 2024 comprehensively and serviced the German website at the same time. The Teiwaz Cirkus also had a reunion, and there was not much room for additional updates. It did not get much easier after the transition from Europe back to the United States, where the USPA National Championship 2024 deserved all the attention. The 4-way competition slipped by quickly, and the beginning of the 8-way competition finally offered the opportunity to recover with NSL TV Unfiltered and at least catch up with scores and basic information. posted: Sep 9th, 2024 The NSL News is now turning back to international events, after comprehensive live coverage of and from the German Outdoor Nationals, which was published mostly on the website of the German Skydiving Federation (DFV). The event at GoJump in Gransee near Berlin had direct international impact on all three traditional Formation Skydiving competition events at the FAI Outdoor World Championships 2024. posted: Sep 5th, 2024 The last meet weekend of the NSL 4-way Network in August changed the situation in the NSL Power Rankings of the AA/Intermediate Class. very shortly before the start of the USPA Nationals next week. QuadRhivium, a new team of the Midwest Skydiving League, with some experienced team members in the lineup, attended one of the last meets of the NSL 4-way Network before Round 1 at the national outdoor championship.
