News Article Did you know that two Czech Panthers have advanced to outdoor competition?
posted: Aug 31st, 2024 The combined leaderboard of all events on the last August weekend confirms the steep progression of the Czech national 4-way champions, Skywalkers Junior, which the NSL News covered with the update on August 27th. No team on the AAA Class leaderboard was able to get anywhere close to the young Czech 4-way competitors. The competition of the five Czech teams on the AAA and RRR leaderboards included an indirect reunion of the previous Czech national 4-way team, HF Flying Circus, who did not continue with outdoor training and competition after the FAI Outdoor World Championships 2022 and had their... News Article Did you know that Ap8thy plan to have the most fun at Crystal Coast?
posted: Aug 30th, 2024 The NSL News reported on August 20th that British 8-way team Ap8thy will represent the country at the FAI Outdoor World Championships 2024, after qualifying with the tied 1st place at last year's national outdoor championship, and then sharing the 1st place again earlier this month, even after an extra round. The preview of the 8-way competition at Crystal Coast on August 22nd pointed out that British 8-way team MicroClim8 had been dominating this event in Great Britain for a decade since 2014. Ap8thy is now a brandnew team on the 8-way leaderboard of an outdoor world championship. Team speaker... (more)
News Article Did you know that Greg Oldendick joins SDC Rhythm XP?
posted: Aug 29th, 2024 The NSL News reported a new lineup of SDC Rhythm XP on 22 January 2022. Keith Conner became the inside center, after Christy Frikken, Doug Barron, Andrew Happick and Steve Lefkowitz had represented the United States at the FAI Tanay Mondial 2020 in August 2021, with Justin Wageman on camera. Keith Conner had collected his training and competition experiences with AAA Class teams Elsinore Elevate (2019) and Elsinore Bullet (2021) before he joined SDC Rhythm XP. Another change for Rhythm a year later brought Steve Loufek into the lineup of the last two years. SDC Rhythm XP now announced that... (more)
News Article Did you know that there are options in the 4-way Women Power Rankings?
posted: Aug 28th, 2024 The first previews of the FAI Outdoor World Championships 2024 with the NSL Power Rankings conclude with the 4-way Women event, which seems to have the same participation as the 8-way competition with five national teams, according to the list of currently registered countries. There is a question mark behind the defending champions from Great Britain though, as NFTO have not confirmed yet that they will travel to Crystal Coast in North Carolina. Anna Hicks, Vana Parker, Sian Stokes and Catherine Anderson, with Simon Brentford on camera, won the FAI gold medals for the British delegation in... (more)
News Article Did you know that Skywalkers Junior lifted the Czech 4-way level once again?
posted: Aug 27th, 2024 July was the first Indoor Cloud League month this year when the Czech team at the Hurricane Factory did not post the highest total for the month. Logically, it became the first time that another team finished in 1st place, and ICL Midwest had the honor to take the position on the top of the July leaderboard. The two leaders on the annual ICL leader, Hurricane Factory and iFLY Dallas, both missed scores for two of the six categories, which was enough to allow ICL Midwest to win the July competition. The iFLY Dallas team for July actually performed all six sequences, as the NSL News reported on... (more)
News Article Did you know that there are probably no surprises in the 8-way medal positions?
posted: Aug 26th, 2024 The current 8-way Power Rankings for the FAI Outdoor World Championships 2024 are not as complicated as they were in 4-way Open. The 8-way field has currently exactly the same number of teams compared to the 8-way participation in Eloy 2022. Five teams competed for the three sets of FAI medals two years ago, and five teams are currently registered for the event at Crystal Coast in October. The leaderboard with the NSL Power Rankings is showing a total of six teams, as it includes the two German 8-way teams who still have to qualify for the world championship. Airbus Oceanside Illertissen... (more)
