Did you know that Fenix is in bronze medal position on home turf in Rio? posted: Jul 18th, 2011 The CISM Military World Championship 2011 in Brazil offers very interesting information and great surprises in the 4-way Formation Skydiving events.
The six qualification rounds in the female 4-way competition have been completed, and the Golden Knights are winning with a 24.3 average.
The teams in both 4-way events have 8-round meets, and two rounds have been completed for the teams in the male event so far. The military CISM rules separate the male and female competitors more consequently, even in the Formation Skydiving events.

Did you know that the British weather struck the latest UKSL meet once again? posted: Jul 18th, 2011 NSL News correspondent in Great Britain and Kaizen member Jo Hawley reports on last weekend’s third meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League (UKSL) and looks ahead to the World Cup 2011 and the UK Nationals 2011.
With only four weeks to go till the UK Nationals 2011, the Hibaldstow UKSL meet saw a record 32 teams take part in a wet and windy competition. Planes circled looking for holes in the clouds while competitors tried to hold their nerve. Although only three rounds were completed due to the poor weather, it has given a useful insight into what might be to come at the national championships.

Did you know that the French B-Teams seem to be glued to each other? posted: Jul 17th, 2011 This weekend's overall leaderboard is already the largest one of the 2011 season, and it is far from being complete. The scores from Great Britain, France and the Netherlands alone combine for for a total of 52 teams. The UK teams are once again competing in all four categories and have the major share of team names on the overall leaderboard.

Did you know that 4-way competition does not have to be so serious? posted: Jul 15th, 2011 The June issue of the Blue Skies Mag (#21) featured the next piece of the "Turning Points" series. It is the sixth contribution from the Formation Skydiving competition community by the NSL News and for the comprehensive Blue Skies Mag coverage of the whole skydiving world.
The previous article covered the best teams in the world, and the World Cup 2011 will soon provide new information. However, this time the NSL News went to the other side of the large Formation Skydiving community for the Blue Skies Mag piece and looked at 4-way competition from the grassroot level perspective.

Did you know that Golden Knights and NMP-PCH Hayabusa will have a 4-way battle in Brazil? posted: Jul 14th, 2011 An interesting duel is coming up between NMP-PCH Hayabusa and the Golden Knights Gold team. It takes place this weekend at the CISM, the military world championships. Both teams then continue at the World Cup 2011, Hayabusa in 4-way and Golden Knights in 8-way. There was actually a third team with the same travel agenda, but Ireland's team Fast Air has canceled the participation at the World Cup and attends only the CISM competition.

Did you know that the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders are on track to outscore the French world champions of 2010? posted: Jul 13th, 2011 The competition in the female 4-way category of the World Cup 2011 is probably the one where the winner can be predicted quite easily. There are not many doubts that the French Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders will successfully live up to their team name.
The main question for the Defenders is only how close they will get to the scoring level of the Deep Blue lineup. Sophie Deremaux, Amélie Tirman, Bérangère Duplouy and Françoise Simons-Hamouchi won the gold medals for Deep Blue at the World Cup 2009 in Prostejov and at the World Meet 2010 in Menzelinsk.
