News Article Did you know that Paraclete XP4 finishes on top of the 78-team leaderboard?
posted: Jul 22nd, 2011 The NSL News story on 19 July 2011 brought up a topic that has recently stirred up the 4-way community in the USA. USPA had decided in the last board meeting that Perris Fury and SDC Rhythm XP are the sanctioned Open Class teams to go to the 3rd Dubai Cup in November this year. Arizona Airspeed is not eligible according to the USPA Competition Manual. It was not a big surprise that the poll results after the NSL News story reflected a very different opinion of the audience. The comments to the story and the poll expressed the different perspectives, and some visitors of the topic's forum were... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Golden Knights won the female 4-way event in Brazil?
posted: Jul 22nd, 2011 The teams in Finland completed ten rounds, and the Pro Team pretty much maintained the scoring level, finishing with a 16.2 average. A quick update from the CISM Championship in Brazil shows that Brazil's female lineup, Fenix, defended the bronze medal position successfully against China. The female lineup of the Golden Knights seem to be ready to challenge the other teams in the female 4-way category at the World Cup 2011. Aerodyne Deep Blue Defender Laurence Hervé managed to tie the Golden Knights' 24-pointer in the semifinal round with the French female CISM lineup. Now the teams will... (more)

News Article Did you know that the Pro Team wins in Finland with new member Tony Nyholm?
posted: Jul 21st, 2011 The future of Finland's national 4-way team, the Pro Team, was open after finishing as the unofficial Scandinavian champion at last year's World Championship of Formation Skydiving in Menzelinsk. The Pro Team had plans only until the world meet in Russia. This week, the team name appears again on the leaderboard of Finland's national championships, and the Pro Team is far ahead of all other teams in 1st place. The 16.4 average after seven rounds is not even close to the 19.5 average in Menzelinsk. However, the competition draw at the world meet included a sequence with only random formations,... (more)
News Article Did you know that there are more familiar team names on the CISM leaderboard?
posted: Jul 20th, 2011 While the audience expresses opposition to the recent USPA decision (see poll and forum of yesterday's story), the NSL News now goes back to the CISM Military World Championship 2011 in Brazil. The story on 18 July 2011 covered the female 4-way competition and mentioned that the male 4-way event offers more interesting news than expected. The leaderboard of the male 4-way competition shows better what the previous article tried to bring up. The German team is still in 2nd place after three rounds, five points ahead of the Golden Knights and only five points behind NMP-PCH Hayabusa. It is unthinkable... (more)
News Article Did you know that Arizona Airspeed is not eligible for the Dubai Championship 2011?
posted: Jul 19th, 2011 Yesterday's NSL News update from the CISM Championship in Brazil needed a correction. The teams in both 4-way events have actually 8-round meets, six qualification rounds, plus semifinals and finals. The Golden Knights are only the winner after the qualification rounds in the female category, and Fenix still has work to do in two more rounds to defend the bronze medal position. In the meantime, this year's Dubai Championship has created some waves in the US 4-way community. The USPA Competition Committee decided at the July board meeting that Perris Fury and SDC Rhythm XP will be officially... (more)
