Did you know that a new Dennis Praet video features NMP-PCH Hayabusa's trip to Brazil?
posted: Jul 30th, 2011 The NSL News has featured video clips made by NMP-PCH Hayabusa member Dennis Praet in previous stories. The young Hayabusa Point showed his editing talent on NSL TV the first time after the Dubai Championship 2011. The story on 13 January 2011 included a video clip of Hayabusa's Dubai experience. The next piece provided footage of Hayabusa's visit at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2011. Dennis Praet once again took the time to put together a new clip that features the recent Hayabusa trip to Brazil. The NSL News reported that the Belgian team won with a new 36.0 record average. Did you know that Germany will erase memories of bad weather?
posted: Jul 30th, 2011 Good news and bad news from the NSL News trip to Germany. The weather in Berlin has not improved at all and interferes with the Go Jump 5-year anniversary summer boogie with the Pink Skyvan. The Berlin weather has also caught up with the area southwest of Germany's capital city, where the NSL Remscheid Cup was supposed to be held in Merseburg this weekend, together with the Antonov Boogie. It was apparently pure luck that the Antonov was able to make the two lifts yesterday evening. The expectations are very low in Merseburg for any jumps today. Did you know that the NSL News is now reporting from Germany?
posted: Jul 29th, 2011 The NSL News mentioned with the story on 3 July 2011 that the trip to Germany and the coverage of the World Cup 2011 begins with a promotional visit at a skydiving center near Halle where FSC Remscheid and the NSL have joined forces to introduce 4-way Formation Skydiving competition to the FSV Merseburg members and other German skydivers. Other events are taking place in Germany at the same time, and the weather has not been favorable recently. Did you know that Tenacity is back with the complete 2011 lineup?
posted: Jul 29th, 2011 Tenacity was the only AA Class team that competed last weekend, even though a few more teams were on site at Start Skydiving for the meet. MESL Director and Tenacity member Joan Esson reported that there was a shortage of videographers on the meet weekend. Bushwackers and Dynamic Attempt could not present their jumps to the judges and used the time for training instead, It was still a special meet for the all-female team of the Mideast Skydiving League. Did you know that meet videos from Finland feature the Pro Team's new lineup?
posted: Jul 28th, 2011 Finland's Pro Team finished off the 2009 season at the World Cup in Prostejov, Czech Republic. Norway was the other nation with a team from Scandinavia in 2009. This year's World Cup in Saarlouis, Germany, does not feature a Scandinavian race at all. Bardagi from Sweden is the only Scandinavian team in the 4-way Open Class, and Norway's team Polaris competes in the female 4-way category. The NSL News recently reported that the Pro Team won Finland's national championship with a new lineup. Finland's unofficial Scandinavian champion of 2010 did not have any plans beyond the July competition,... (more)

Did you know that even the devil was crying for air conditioning in the Northern Plains?
posted: Jul 27th, 2011 Hot. That's the first thing that comes to Northern Plains Skydiving League Director Mike Betz's mind when he thinks about the 2nd meet of the 2011 season on the July 16/17 weekend: "With the temperature in the high 90's and the humidity not too far behind, even the devil was crying for air conditioning..." However, much like the first NPSL meet this year, this meet started out on a very long weather hold.
