Did you know that Sinapsi won in Italy with a new record average? posted: Sep 19th, 2009 The scores of the Italian Nationals 2009 have replaced the leaderboard of the ESL Championship 2009 before this weekend's results will make the NSL front page.
There was no doubt that the bronze medalist of the FAI World Cup 2009, Real Lazio Sinapsi, would win the national championship this year. Livio Piccolo, Luca Marchioro, Pete Allum and Steve Hamilton, with Massimo Fiorini on camera, had already posted a 21.4 average at the World Cup, and there is no other team in Italy that could have challenged the defending champions.

Did you know that the MWSL meet story comes along with Rhythm and Furies videos? posted: Sep 18th, 2009 The NSL News goes back to the September meet of the Midwest Skydiving League last weekend. The story on 15 September 2009 already covered this event and went back in time to the very beginnings of the SDC Furies XP. The meet videos are now available, and NSL-TV has uploaded the competition jumps of the Furies, SDC Rhythm XP and Pareto Optimal.

Did you know that NSL-TV presents the 20-point elite club videos? posted: Sep 17th, 2009 The NSL News has some real eye candy for the audience.
The story on 3 September 2009, when the NSL News reported live from the FAI World Cup 2009 in the Czech Republic, included a mention that Arizona Airspeed has been the only team in the hostory of Foramtion Skydiving competition that has managed to score 20 or higher for every single round in a 10-round competition.

Did you know that Norway's 4-way selection is coming up soon? posted: Sep 16th, 2009 It is not a competition, even though most of the currently best Norwegian 4-way competitors will be involved in the event. The selection of the new national 4-way team is on the agenda this month.
The selection event will not even include any skydiving. The candidates will meet with the Sports Director, IPC Delegate Trude Sviggum, former member of Norwegian national 4-way teams in the female category. (more)
Did you know that the Furies story goes back to the MWSL 2003 season? posted: Sep 15th, 2009 The FAI World Cup 2009 and then the ESL Championship 2009 received recently the most attention of the NSL News, and it was obviously worth it. Both events featured great competition and scores.
However, other events happened at the same time. The last meet of the Northern Plains Skydiving League took place on the September 4 weekend and while the World Cup was finishing up the last two rounds. NPSL Director Sandy Grillet called his true 4-way community together one more time, and almost everybody came to celebrate the end of the NPSL 2009 season.

Did you know that the official ESL meet story explains the new scoring system? posted: Sep 14th, 2009 Richard Head, Phobia's Center Outside, eventually provided the official meet report of the ESL Championship 2009 for the NSL News. His own team just tied the attendance record of the 2009 season with the 7th competition last weekend.
The Czech team Fast Arrows held this title alone so far. Phobia competed at the FAI World Cup 2009 in the Czech Republic where AA Class team Fast Arrows did not have a matching category.
Phobia saved the best for last a week after the World Cup and posted the team's highest meet average of the 2009 season at the ESL Championship 2009. The 14.3 average last weekend... (more)
