Did you know that the new update from the Czech Republic includes very fast Hayabusa videos? posted: Aug 31st, 2009 The NSL News mentioned earlier today that Hayabusa Defence recently won the CISM Championships 2009. It was already the third consecutive victory for the Belgian national team in this military 4-way competition. Hayabusa won the 4th CISM Military World Games in India in 2007 after an exciting 1-point battle with the Golden Knights with a 31.5 average.
The second set of CISM gold medals went to Belgium after last year's 30.5 average victory in Switzerland. It was the first Hayabusa competition with new team member Weadong So who replaced Luc Verstrepen at the end of the 2008 season. This year's... (more)

The missing Russian teams have arrived, and Misha Mineev's former team mates are getting ready for the competition.
Today's first update from Prostejov brings the first video with live scenes from the competition site. The NSL-TV camera captured this morning's activities at a very lively drop zone.

Did you know that the Southern California Skydiving League finished big in Perris? posted: Aug 30th, 2009 The new work week begins with scores from Perris, California. The last meet of the Southern California Skydiving League took was hosted by Perris Valley Skydiving and was a great success. Twelve teams competed in Perris and made it the busiest meet of the 2009 season.
Most of the teams had already attended an SCSL meet earlier this year and came back to celebrate the conclusion of the 2009 season. It's All Good, Perris IB and Jim and the Pimps were new to the SCSL 4-way competition.

Did you know that the new leaderboards are waiting for scores in Prostejov? posted: Aug 30th, 2009 Things have become one step more serious today at the FAI World Cup 2009. The scores of the World Cup 2007 have now been replaced with the new leaderboard for the upcoming event in Prostejov, Czech Republic.
There are no scores posted yet, as the competition begins on Tuesday morning. However, all registered teams already have their spot on the new leaderboard, and the names of all lineups have been updated on the team pages. New and up-to-date photos will be added soon.
The vast majority of the 4-way teams did not need a new team page. There is hardly a team that has not attended a competition... (more)
Did you know that the NSL News has moved office to the Czech Republic? posted: Aug 29th, 2009 The temporary transition of the NSL News office from DeLand, Florida, to Prostejov, Czech Republic, was successfully completed today. The competition site of the FAI World Cup 2009 is the place to be for the upcoming week.
Several teams have been training at the dropzone already for several days, and they all speak highly of the facilities and the host's hospitality. The dropzone seems to be ready for the event, and only the final preparations are in the works.

Did you know that Sally Hathaway is filling Becky Brocato's Blue slot? posted: Aug 28th, 2009 Yesterday's NSL News story provided a preview of the female 4-way competition at the FAI World Cup 2009. The article mentioned that the NSL News would soon follow up with information of the US team Spaceland Blue.
The Blue members knew already earlier this year that the team agenda would not allow the attendance at the World Cup 2009. However, more difficulties occured when Becky Brocato injured her knee and needed surgery to repair her ACL, as the NSL News reported yesterday.
