posted: Jul 28th, 2008 Last weekend's leaderboard begins to become more colorful with more numbers added to the German scores from one meet in Leutkirch and the other one in Kassel. It is actually also worthwhile checking the previous scoreboard, which features the results of the Swedish Nationals 2008. The NSL News will go back to this event later. The national championship of Denmark was a part of the previous weekend's leaderboard, while the Swedish Nationals were held on the following week days. Did you know that the Chicas fended off the Incognito challenge?
posted: Jul 27th, 2008 The second day at the Nuggets Cup was a short one, and not much changed in the standings any more. Fog was in the way of an early start on Sunday, and the weather situation never allowed a smooth operation of the meet. Finally, Round 5 was completed for all 4-way teams before the meet was called and the award ceremony began at 2:00 pm. The EADS 8-way team was able to complete seven rounds in its one and only test before the World Meet 2008 where the Germans will try to go for the bronze medals, which might be up for grabs since Russia has not registered an 8-way lineup. Did you know that 26 4-way teams and one 8-way team compete in Germany?
posted: Jul 26th, 2008 The new meet weekend is already in full swing, and four rounds have been completed at the Nuggets Cup in Leutkirch, Germany. The German national 4-way team, FSC Eisenach, dominates the 4-way competition so far, although the Swiss national 4-way team Viva has been keeping up well after Round 1. In fact, the Swiss 4-way lineup, including Blue Magic world champion of 1983, Marcel Aeby, lost only Round 1 to the German team, which had a perfect start into the competition. Both teams will meet each other again at the World Meet 2008 in a few weeks. (more)

posted: Jul 25th, 2008 The next meet weekend is already coming up, and the NSL News has traveled to Europe in the meantime. The Nuggets Cup in Leutkirch, Germany, is on the agenda on the way to the final destination in Maubeuge, France, for the live coverage of the World Meet 2008. The Nuggets Cup is a part of the German Skydiving League (DSL) schedule and is one of the major events of each competition season in Europe. Did you know that Bodyflight Storm's Round 4 is now on NSL-TV?
posted: Jul 25th, 2008 The NSL News story on 22 July 2008 reported already how the British national 4-way team in the female category, Bodyflight Storm, made a strong statement with the 19.2 average after six rounds at last weekend's Southern California Skydiving League competition in Elsinore. Did you know that the Ranch Skydiving League set another new participation record?
posted: Jul 24th, 2008 The Ranch Skydiving League set a new participation record last weekend. Eight teams competed in three competition classes, and there was actually a 9th team ready to go. Jack's Team had an injury and a video malfunction on the first jump and had to withdraw. Other missing RSL teams were the Demo Divas and Spanakopita who will hopefully be back for the next meet, as RSL Director Robert Schuyler reported.
