Did you know that Operation Adler won German 8-way battle in Round 8? posted: Sep 4th, 2023 The 8-way Open Class teams German Outdoor Nationals completed all ten rounds, even though the Sunday was supposed to be only a weather day. However, the national championships were the qualification event for the next outdoor world meet at the same time, and the situation in 8-way Open was close enough after Round 7 to follow through with the three missing rounds.

Did you know that Airbus 8-way and Operation Adler battle as hard as expected? posted: Sep 2nd, 2023 The 4-way competition of the German Outdoor Nationals reached conclusion after Round 8, even though the Rookie Class teams may still have a chance to complete more rounds. Meet director Helmut Bastuck finally had to begin with the 8-way competition, with only two more days left for the event. Most of the 4-way competitors were involved with the 8-way event, as well, and only the 4-way Rookie Class had no overlapping.

Did you know that the 8-way teams are ready for their battle in Germany? posted: Sep 1st, 2023 The first NSL News update from the German Outdoor Nationals included a conversation with the national team in 4-way Open, Airbus Illertissen Oceanside. It took place after the first three rounds were completed.
Airbus had launched the next competition a few days after Round 10 at the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving with an impressive and promising 19-pointer for a sequence (H,11,1) with two average blocks and a random formation. They followed up with 26 points for the fastest sequence in the draw and 22 for Round 3. The door was open for a potential 20+ average.

Did you know that Airbus Illertissen Oceanside talk about their Norway experiences? posted: Aug 31st, 2023 The weather in Germany has been almost a copy of the weather in Norway at the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving. However, the Fallschirmsportzentrum (FSZ) Saar is operated by some of the most experienced event managers in the sport, the Bastuck family.
Markus Bastuck, who is still active and will compete with 8-way team Operation Adler at Germany's national outdoor championships, was managing the operation of the two FSZ Cessna Caravans that were flying at Skydive Voss for the outdoor world cup, is now working together with his father Helmut Bastuck on home turf in Germany.
