The NSL Live Talk conversation with Airbus Illertissen Oceanside on August 31st took place while rain was pounding the facilities at the Fallschirmsportzentrum Saar.
The German national team in 4-way Open was obviously unimpressed by the weather in Saarlouis, as they had just experienced very similar conditions at the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving in Norway. The teams in the first three places on the world cup leaderboard had something in common that has little and still much to do with the actual competition.
The team videographers play a major role in Formation Skydiving competition, especially in the medal area of the 4-way Open event, where the break of each sequence's first formation usually happens in less than a second. Did you know that Thyra won the next FAI medals for Norway? posted: Sep 11th, 2023 The NSL News coverage of the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving is far from over, even though other events keep happening during the aftermath of the competition at Skydive Voss in Norway.
National championships in Germany, Great Britain, Belgium and Netherlands were taking place shortly after the outdoor world cup, and more Formation Skydiving events will come up very soon, including Canada, France and the United States. Most of them relate to the outdoor world cup, where the best 4-way and 8-way teams of participating countries meet for international competition.

Did you know that Cheetahs and Lions had their own travel agenda? posted: Sep 8th, 2023 The next aftermath event was the British 4-way outdoor championship, which was completed last weekend, at the same time when the German 8-way teams battled for the top spot in their event. The British 8-way teams will follow up on the September 16 weekend.

Did you know that the Qatar Formation Skydiving delegation split up after leaving Norway? posted: Sep 8th, 2023 The aftermath of the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving will take a little while, and it is different compared to other FAI outdoor events in the past. There is more than only the traditional aftermath this year, which usually evaluates the results of any event as carefully as possible.
The outdoor competition at Skydive Voss was scheduled relatively early in the calendar year, which changes the relationship between the most relevant annual international events (world championship - world cup) and the national championships for the teams in the participating countries.

Did you know that the ICL teams at Hurricane Factory and iFLY Dallas generate their point totals in different ways? posted: Sep 7th, 2023 The events of the Indoor Cloud League have continued through the outdoor season, naturally without the same attention and participation that they enjoy during the indoor season. However, especially the teams at the Hurricane Factory in Prague, iFLY Dallas and Paraclete XP have continued with their events, even though not all scores and videos have been posted yet.
