Did you know that round two on May 21 was the slowest jump of the weekend? posted: Jun 7th, 2005 The new round of NSL-TV continues with the coverage of the May 21 meet weekend, the largest event in the history of the National Skydiving League. 81 teams still have their results posted on the NSL on-line scoreboard. Did you know that the 8-way event at the Malevsky Cup features the top five teams of 2004? posted: Jun 6th, 2005 The NSL News story on June 1 mentioned that the FAI Anton Malevsky Memorial International Cup 2005 will include the 8-way event for the first time in the event's history. The NSL News does not cover 8-way as regular as 4-way by nature. However, 8-way competition has been covered very extensively at the major events.
The NSL News was live on site when Arizona Airspeed and the Russian 8-way team went into a jump-off and tie-breaker situation at the world meet in France 2003. The 8-way competition was just as exciting at the world meet in Croatia 2004 when the NSL News had also traveled to Europe... (more)
Did you know that there were several more AAA Stars in Florida? posted: Jun 6th, 2005 The first part of the April 16 NSL-TV was posted with the NSL News on June 4th. The videos came from the Southwest Skydiving League event at Skydive Arizona in Eloy and included round four of Airspeed Odyssey and Velocity.
The new meet videos of the Florida Skydiving League meet in Lake Wales on the same weekend complete the coverage of round four. More 540 degree turns can be viewed in the AAA and AA Class, and more Stars at the end of the sequence in the AAA Class only. (more)
Did you know that the NSL SkyVenture Competition results of the May 28 weekend are posted? posted: Jun 5th, 2005 The results of NSL SkyVenture Competition on the May 28 weekend are now available. The handicapped scores of the May 21 weekend are still on a hold due to a little flaw in the program that calculates the handicapped results for the NSL SkyVenture Competition. This flaw relates only to meets where teams competed at earlier meets of a different league.
The results of the May 28 weekend were calculated after four rounds in the AAA Class and also the AA Class, after three rounds in the A Class. The Southwest Skydiving League completed all six rounds, while the Georgia Skydiving League competition... (more)
Did you know that the Star was only for the AAA Class teams in April? posted: Jun 4th, 2005 The new round of NSL-TV goes back to the April 16 meet weekend when the Southwest and the Florida Skydiving Leagues teams competed in Eloy and Lake Wales.
