Did you know that Aerokart Ak'demie moved up to 2nd place in the NSL Power Rankings? posted: Apr 6th, 2022 The situation of the NSL Power Rankings in 4-way Open for the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 turned out to be even more dramatic than the adjustments in 4-way Junior and 4-way Women.
The 4-way Open Class teams were last in the order of the traditional 4-way indoor events, followed by 4-way VFS. The NSL News camera arrived just in time to capture that last three teams in the speed test sessions on Wednesday morning.

Did you know that the 4-way Junior and 4-way Women events promise fierce battles? posted: Apr 6th, 2022 The official part of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 began with the speed test for all participating teams on Wednesday morning. The three 4-way Junior teams were first in the starting order, followed by 4-way Women, 4-way Open and 4-way VFS.
The latest adjustments in the NSL Power Rankings for the event included the 4-way Junior teams, where the Czech HF Flying Rebels seemed to be the top contender earlier last month. This changed after the results of the French Indoor Nationals in March, and all three teams seemed to be closer to each other than before.

Did you know that Airspace Charleroi was ready for indoor world cup action on Tuesday? posted: Apr 6th, 2022 The transition of the NSL News headquarters to Airspace Charleroi in Belgium was completed on Tuesday, and the last preparations for the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 are in full swing at the event site.
It was a mixture of final preparations of the logistics at Airspace Charleroi and last-minute training in the flying chamber. The host has set up additional service areas outside of the actual wind tunnel building to accommodate the large number of participants.

Did you know that Austria and Belgium synchronized their indoor competition draws? posted: Apr 5th, 2022 Austria was another country that completed the national indoor championships before any of the participating teams would follow up with the FAI Indoor World Cup, which begins this Thursday.
Windabona Black Mantis had once again no serious opposition this year and added the next national indoor title to the team's collection. The NSL News had reported on 15 September 2020 that Black Mantis had also outscored Final Fire at the outdoor championships for the first time and unified both national 4-way titles.

Did you know that the Golden Knights withdraw from competition? posted: Apr 3rd, 2022 The NSL News recently featured the competition for the 4-way Open Class bronze medals at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2022. The Golden Knights were a part of this 4-team battle, and they were in a very strong position after the opening rounds. In fact, the U.S. Army team was in 2nd place through Round 4, two points ahead of XPG4.
It would be no surprise to see the Golden Knights in one of the medal positions, whether it is in 4-way or in 8-way at U.S. indoor or outdoor championships. It was the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2014 where the Golden Knights did not finish in a 4-way medal... (more)
Did you know that the original Paratec Saar lineup of 2005 attended their first indoor competition? posted: Apr 2nd, 2022 The German Indoor Nationals 2022 offered more than only the successful title defense of Jochen Schweizer Arena's Airfource and the impressive performance of the country's national outdoor team, Airbus Oceanside Illertissen.
The NSL News also pointed out in the event's review on March 21st that the two 4-way Women teams, Piteraq and Skynamite, may be engaged in a new German battle for bronze medals at the upcoming FAI Indoor World Cup in Charleroi.
