News Article Did you know that the new Block 20 was part of the SkyVenture New Hampshire competition?
posted: Feb 10th, 2025 This year's indoor competition at SkyVenture New Hampshire had lower attendance than in January 2024, despite the comeback after the corona virus break in 2022 (13), promising 26 teams in 2023 and the 19 teams last year. However, it was still a special event for a very different reason. Jim Rees, U.S. delegate and current member of the ISC Formation Skydiving Committee, had just returned from the annual ISC Plenary Meeting, this year in Rome, Italy, and he was the chief judge and administrator at SkyVenture New Hampshire less than a week later. The NSL News had given the potential changes... (more)

News Article Did you know that it's still a long way to French outdoor gold in 2026?
posted: Feb 7th, 2025 The NSL News headline on February 3rd stated that France has taken back the world's 4-way top spot, which was factually related to the dominating performance and the 1st place at the Wind Games 2025. However, winning a 4-way competition is only a temporary accomplishment, even if it is happening at one of the larger events. Traditionally, the world's top spot in Formation Skydiving competition is the winner of the FAI Outdoor World Championship, which is taking place every other year, taking turns with the bi-annual FAI World Cup. Only the outdoor world championships crown the best teams... (more)
News Article Did you know that Michelle Karamon and Niklas Hemlin talked about Tunnel Vision?
posted: Feb 6th, 2025 The NSL News covered some of the highlights at the Wind Games 2025 earlier this week. The battle between NMP PCH HayaBusa and Tunnel Vision, with the tie-breaking extra round at the end, was the main topic on February 3rd. Belgian team captain Dennis Praet provided details of this duel during the NSL Live Talk conversation the same day, shortly after returning from Spain. He was impressed with his own team's progression during the training week before and the resilience under pressure, which was eventually rewarded with the 2nd place after the extra round. The direct opponent in this duel... (more)

posted: Feb 4th, 2025 The battle between NMP PCH HayaBusa and new U.S. indoor team Tunnel Vision, including an extra round to break the tie after Round 10, took all the attention at the Wind Games. The French winners, Aethers Medjay, at least received the deserved attention due to the highly impressive performance level and by arguably taking over the top position in the 4-way world. However, even the confirmation of the new power situation on the world's top level was not a big surprise for the formation skydiving competition community, as it was already expected to happen before the Wind Games eventually generated... News Article Did you know that NMP PCH HayaBusa's Dennis Praet himself was surprised by his team?
posted: Feb 3rd, 2025 The leaderboard of the Wind Games 2025 was speaking its own language to a certain extent. Aethers Medjay on the very top did not require much explanation, even though the 33-point lead after Round 10 was probably more than expected in the formation skydiving competition community. National coach Mathieu Bernier knew that his team had the head-start into the 2025 season, compared to other potential contenders for the world's 4-way top position, with the exception of the Golden Knights, who starting training and competing together with the same lineup in July 2023. He is expecting the same outcome... (more)
